One kitten turns to the other as I set down the food dishes and they sniff at their breakfast: “What did you get?”
“Chicken Liver,” the other Kitten answers with a sniff.
“Me too,” the first kitten replies.
“Mama is going to pay for this,” the second kitten states.
“What do you have in mind, whatever it is, I am in,” the first kitten replies.
“I will think of something, I hate chicken liver,” the second kitten pouts.
“You think she knows?” The first kitten asks.
“I would wager my next dish of beef on it,” The second kitten confirms.
“I had a feeling you might say that,” the first kitten answers with a sigh. “That means she is punishing us.”
“What do you think we did wrong?” The second kitten asks.
“Not enough, obviously, and we need to use more stealth when we do it,” the first kitten replies.
I look down at the little terrors and grin, “Suck it up you little turds, because that is all you are getting until later. Next time you trash the house you will get it twice in a row.”
oooo, they have been bad, the house looks like there were 2 miniature tornados in it.
“What do you think?” The first kitten asks.
“Her corn broom is toast,” the second one confirms.
“She won’t like that,” the first kitten warns.
“Do you like chicken liver?” the second kitten asks.
“Better than a few others I can name,” the first one answers.
“You have a point,” the second kitten replies, before adding, “But her corn broom is still toast.”
And Thus, the day begins. Walking around the living room, picking up throw pillows, small blankets, pens, paper, and anything else small and light enough to be able to push it from off whatever it was on.
Looks at curtains, must remember to put the sashes back on,
shakes head at tear in white sheers that seems to be growing.
You get the picture.
On the book front, I am almost half way through the reworking/edit of Tratchars, a few more days and I should be finished.
I have a couple interviews to write up, excerpts to look up, the first chapter of Earwen’s Song to rework/edit, and a few other things to do.
I still haven’t begun to change the rooms around, but I have help coming for that.
It is also time to do some shopping for kitten food, they are running short again.
I don’t want to give them the cans with gravy in them, it gives the kittens gas,
although they will gorge on the stuff, thinking about straining it, wonder if they would eat it if I ran water over the meat to get rid of the gravy.
(I have to live in this house too.)
I am going to be lazy this week, read regular books,
next to no writing (notice I am covering my butt when I say that?)
My mind is at ease, which mean Earwen and Eol are otherwise too occupied to talk to me.
(Works for me).
Checking on kittens, some of the food is eaten,
tonight they get turkey and beef,
or turkey and turkey.
They love beef, Snoop would have poked his nose it the air, walked away, tossed me a look over his shoulder and flicked his tail in disdain.
Well, on that note, it is time I did something with at least 1 room in the house. Going to work on the kitchen, I don’t have to move furniture there.
The weather is supposed to be warming up and, from the sounds of things in the other room so are the bratz,
got to go check on that.
Also need to buy a new mouse for my imac, I think they trashed mine.
Until next week, have a good one, cage your kittens,
and enjoy the summer.
LOL little turds? Bratz more like it 😀 Thanks for the Saturday chuckles. Glad you get some relaxing time.
Thinking you will have the 1st edit in your file early in the week
LOL-those two are somethings else. Thanks for my Saturday chuckles and hope you have a good weekend. 🙂
Those two do keep you busy. Laughed all the way through. I will believe you are going to read when you do it. LOL I have gotten to KD on my rereads. Loved the blog.
