The kittens are in the other room, Thena is pouting,
Tath got prime sleeping space last night so she refused to stay in bed,
Tath purred most of the night.
Yes, the competition can be rife sometimes…
there is Thena the jumper,
who can’t stay off of anything that allows her to jump on top of it, the higher the better.
Then there is Tath, pizza thief, sock thief, etc. (he has the snatch & run down pat).
He ate enough pizza bread the other day I though it would continue to rise in him and he would pop.
.. no such luck..
. which was a good thing because the litter pan can be gross enough..
. bought shares in febreeze the other day… Oy.
You also know you are in trouble when the weather gets blustery (like it did last weekend)
I could have sworn that the wind had come into the house to blow those 2 kittens around,
not only were things flying, but so were they.
I got out of bed to find the curtains, rods & all on the floor in the living room,
Thena has pawmade a door in the sheers to get at the window,
so I lowered the blinds – now she does what she can to check things out from where she can, going from window to window..
. skinny little thing.
Tath is far from skinny..
. the walking stomach..
. he is growing and getting heavier everyday.
(it is the pizza)
I have almost caught up to where I am writing with my typing, 2 more chapters to go.
That could put me close to 80,000 words, with more to write.
I will probably go over my projected limit again,
but you know what they say about stories,
they aren’t over until they are told.
We are going to have a party to celebrate the end and beginning of a lot of things after that..
. the end of my writing on Tratchars,
the beginning of my writing Earwen’s Song,
the launch of For the King and Elven Empire,
the reveal of the cover of Earwen’s Song.
Of course this means work.
I not only have to finish Tratchars,
but rework it, do a few interviews,
check over the edits for Integration before passing it on for final edits,
pass Surrounded by the Light on to second last edits,
make up prizes for the event.
… etc. Haven’t been pushing at fixing up the rooms yet, or at least not much.
But I will.
I am torn between whether I should write Hunter’s Challenge after Earwen’s Song or Into the Demons Lair, I am tempted to carry on with the EC,
and I am hoping to make Into the Demons Lair a Novella.
So many decisions, and so may books to write, at the rate I am going I could have next year’s list and part of 2017 done by the end of the year.
No one will be happy with that.
To Capture an Ancient will be a Novella, but fun to write.
(I had thought of making it into a Christmas Novella, but can you imagine Liessen’s daughter featuring in a G rated story?
On that note, it is time for me to grab the pen, which is showing signs of losing ink,
and seeing what else I can get into.
These decisions take a lot of thought.
Until next week, have a good one,
enjoy the warmth of our weather,
(finally) and be good.
(at whatever you are getting into).
Oh my gosh, those two just never stop. I swear they are worse than kids!! LOL-you poor thing but it doesn’t seem to interfere with your writing. Thanks for my Saturday chuckles. Hope you have an easier day with those two. Going to my granddaughters graduation party today-NO COOKING-YaY!!
They keep a person on their toes, but that is all right…. have a great time at the party.
I see the terrible twosome is still having fun. LOL You are doing great on the stories and are getting pretty far ahead of schedule. The weather is still raining here and the kids went camping and it is raining there so in the fifth wheel they sit. LOL Loved the blog. Feeling some better today.Don’t know how you have time to write cleaning up after kittys. LOL
Never fun camping when all it does is rain, but the… 😉 anything is possible. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.
