Yes, the sun (and kittens) are rising earlier every day. They like to play with my feet in the morning,
not sure what I am going to do with that when it is hot enough to sleep with only a sheet covering them.
Those claws and teeth are sharp, it wasn’t like poor defenceless Snoop, who had no teeth for several years before his demise.
They are definitely developing their own characters.
Thena is the one who will dare the world, my jumper, and she is teaching Tath (not that he needs a lot of that).
Tath is my thinker, he is also a major nag,
I cannot walk without him running between, under, around, and in front of me.
I keep telling him it is dangerous, but he is too busy talking to listen.
He also has only one thing on his mind, food.
He is a walking stomach.
Thena is simpler when it comes to food, if she doesn’t like what came in the can, she will try to bury it – which isn’t easy on tile.
The swallows have arrived from their winter migration, and they have discovered not one new kitten, but two. I believe they think this is going to be a fun summer.
They are probably right.
The kittens try to catch them as they flash by the picture window as they look out into the world
(Yes, my sheers are toast, but not replacing them until they are out of that stage.)
Thena wants at those birds,
Tath wants to play with the sheers, and nag for attention. (and food)
I have gone over the 80% mark in my written part of ‘Tratchars’ and will be headed for 85% today (I will probably go over that mark sometime tomorrow),
and, you guessed it,
I will be going into overrun on this book (I have no doubts).
I have a few chapters written on ‘Earwen’s Song’ already,
and am already into the 20% area on that one (typed out),
I wouldn’t be too surprised if that one goes into overrun as well,
but you know what they say, the book isn’t finished until the story is told.
I wrote the first chapter of ‘To Capture an Ancient’.
That one is going to be a short one, and it is going to be a bit of a romp.
‘Into the Demons Lair’ is anyone’s guess what it will end up like.
I haven’t started that yet, it will have to wait until I have done the others so I have a clue.
Booting right along, I have the first chapter for ‘Hunter’s Challenge’ written, but that is all there.
I am only human.
It is a bright and sunny day, I am full of energy,
which should last until I see my job list,
I will let you know how that turned out.
I have my cover for ‘Earwen’s Song’ (the poster will arrive Tuesday along with the one from ‘Tratchars’.
I have a busy week planned … and if everything goes well, and the kittens don’t continue to play chase me across my work while I am trying to write,
I could be finished writing Tratchars as early as next weekend.
Then it will be time to do the reworking… won’t that be fun.
Not.
Well, on that note, play time is over, for me, not the kittens.
Enjoy your long weekend and I will talk at you again next Saturday.
Looking forward to Tratchars… and Earwen’s Song… Ah Eol! *sigh* my new book boyfriend. Have an awesome long weekend! Smooches to the bratz too 😀
Thanks for my Saturday chuckles! Those two are something else-you can’t say you’re bored. Sounds like you are getting a lot of writing done and hope the two hellions let you continue to do so. 🙂 Have a great weekend Mary Ann.
