Yes, he is playing monkey see, monkey do and the top of my furniture may never need dusting again,
(yes, that includes the tall china cabinet).
He is taking jumping lessons and, doing very well at it, I might add.
Thena was bad enough, but now while one is getting read the riot act for jumping, the other is doing it,
so not fair.
They can look so innocent with those blue eyes when they look at you..
. but I know about blue eyes,
not only do a lot of my Elves have them,
but so do I.
I am beyond frustrated with my writing, not that it hasn’t been going well,
I wrote 6 chapters this week and got to type them out.
This puts me ready to pass the 60% mark.
I know what I want to put down, but for some reason the words aren’t sticking with me in-between interruptions,
and yes, there have been interruptions.
It seems as if there are always people coming through the doorway for some reason or another, and work isn’t helping.
Then again if I don’t go to work, I don’t get paid, catch-22.
Sighing heavily.
This is the weekend little bro is coming home, and he has about 6 messages waiting for him,
this should be interesting,
it is supposed to be somewhat of a rest for him.
(Snort). Not only does he have messages, but he told someone he will do a job,
plus someone else (moi) to make up a job list for him to do… I know 3 jobs aren’t considered much (I was trying to be thoughtful here) but my guess is that he won’t be able to get to most of them.
I would like 2 done for sure and they shouldn’t take long.
Note the use of the word ‘shouldn’t’. Sighing.
On the up side, the kittens have been told about him and they are awaiting his arrival with bated breath.
Yes, baby bro is slightly allergic.
Tath with slink around the house, finding little places to hide,
but the last time he was home he decided to take an afternoon nap, and Thena went with him.
When I went looking for her, I found them curled up together in his bed.
It went like this, “Have you seen Thena?”
Little bro jumped up with a horrified look on his face (busted),
he quickly pointed at the kitten and said: “Get it out of there, get it out.”
You would think there was a snake in his bed or something equally upsetting, not a 6 month old kitten… sheesh.
Anyway, I have noticed the kittens have been spending extra time in his room… dare I say plotting?
The copies of ‘For the King and Elven Empire’ have arrived. They are gorgeous and I have Cora (as usual) to thank.
She made a great job.
I am waiting for my US contact to call back to say it is a go, because the truck leaving for the US goes tomorrow sometime.
If everything works out they will be on it, if it doesn’t work out, they will leave in 2 weeks on the next run.
Either way those who have ordered them will be getting them ahead of schedule.
On that note, I am going to leave.
I have kittens to corral.
Snoop was so much easier.
LOL those gorgeous brats are hilarious. Thanks for my fix of giggles.
Nothing like the sound of kitten bodies striking the ground to tell you not only that you are not alone, but nothing in the house is safe
LOL – those two!! Thanks for my Saturday chuckles. Needed it today, think I’m getting a sinus infection. 😦 Enjoy your visit with little brother – he’s in for it now with two hellions!!
Thena isn’t intimidated by him, and surprisingly, neither is Tath. He is running around like someone who can’t catch up to himself.
It’s another marvellous post
Thank you Julie
Such fun I think your bro will find he is not as allergic as he thinks. If Thena was sleeping with him and he was breathing fine it should alright. LOL I think your bro is like you a vacation is just a break from his work to doing other jobs for people he wouldn’t be able to just rest. It was a matter of time for Tath to start jumping on things. LOL Love those two. The blog has made my day.
I don’t think he is badly allergic, but he does get stuffed up around them.
Are you remembering Snoop as a kitten I can’t imagine him not doing the same things. LOL
I remember him slicing the basements screens open so he could slip out of the house in the early hours of the morning, before we got up. When we woke up he was usually in the house sleeping at my feet. when we caught him it took a while to figure out how he got out.
