Yes, when I woke up the kittens were hopping all over the bed, again.  Groan.  Bounce, Bounce, Bounce… and you guessed it, another gross pompom in there with me.  I got up, looked out the window, and there was about four hundred robins on my front lawn,  and yes, they were also hopping.  (That at least was good news, it means spring is supposed to be close, (Poor delusional guys are going to freeze their tail feathers off.)  We are supposed to have another week of this cold stuff.  With luck it will pass through a little quicker.  I don’t know anyone who isn’t sick of this weather.  Well, maybe one, but his views don’t count when everyone else is so tired of white.  To be fair, it isn’t white out there anymore, just a sick shade of dried out grass brown.  

As everyone can see, I got the cover for Tratchars from Cora, I couldn’t keep it in hiding.  I was beyond pleased with it and, even when she showed me the couple, I could never have envisioned what it would come out like.   We create on different levels.   I am trying to force some of the scenes out of my mind and onto paper, but they don’t want to leave home, they have gathered too many possessions and hate to pack.  I don’t blame them, but it is really getting crowded in the neighbourhood.  I have a good portion of all the scenes for Tratchars, Earwen’s Song (which is really strong in my mind), Kings of the Empire, Hunter’s Challenge, Forbidden Contact and a couple I haven’t named yet in my attic.  My head is getting hard to carry.  

The kittens just ran into the room, at full gallop.  You wouldn’t recognize them from their introduction pictures any more.  Thena is almost, if not completely, full grown.  Tath has doubled in size and is quickly going to over take her for length and weight.  Tath is the shy one, Thena doesn’t know the meaning of the word.  She does have the definition of temper down pat though.  Tath looks at her when she is getting into trouble, as if to say, you know you aren’t supposed to do that, you will get caught, you will be sorry.  Then I catch her.  She has this love of jumping and counters, she deserves my sister as a mama.  Sis would soon convince her that the kitchen cupboard is not for kittens, my efforts are not effective.  Sis uses airmiles and they work very well.  The cats seem to understand airmiles better than they do picking them off the counter and plopping them onto the floor.  My nephew says, it is almost like I give her a hug, before I put her down, so she comes back for more.  Tath is more of a gentleman, he doesn’t go up there, much.  He, however, if a foot kitten, he likes to walk around my feet when I get up or move. (I am going to trip over him one of these days and we will both be sorry.)

Well, it is going to be one of those days,  picking up pen and paper and stumbling off.  Nope, definitely not hopping today.  Hope everyone has a great easter, eats lots of Easter goodies, enjoys their time with family and friends, and feels no effects from weather, chocolate or Easter kittens, I mean bunnies.    Until next week, stay well, and I will bring you up to date on the happenings here.
