What am I going to do?  The morning light doesn’t come that early, wait a few months... sighing.  Why am I thinking about this?  Where do I start? With the crash I heard early this morning, I found one item where it wasn’t supposed to be, but that wasn’t what went boom, I know it.  Checking around some more, I know it wasn’t fairies, they are all intact (still can’t believe they are in 1 piece)  Snoop must have killed 4.  So what hit the floor with a loud enough kaboom that it got me out of my warm bed?  Sooner or later I will find it.  While I was up I did the usual, fed the little nag, I mean Tath cat, Thena was there for the ride, she doesn’t nag, she takes action.  Thena is the extrovert of the pair, Tath the introvert and very shy.  (I have the scratch/gouge marks to prove it.)  If someone new comes through the door and I am holding him, look out.

My nephew is coming to install my new tv today, yes, as I believe I mentioned, the old one died, and the spare isn’t feeling well.  The system that runs it isn’t doing that well either, it never rains, but it pours.  So, we are going to see what can be done about it.  By way of thank you and Happy Birthday, I am making a fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, and that type of thing, (all from scratch, no KFC here), followed by a birthday cake.  (no candles).  We will, if there is time after, sit down with popcorn and watch Hobbit 3 in 3D.

I am taking a short break from writing.  Integration is in second stage edits already and I bet Eniko is well into the Elven world with Surrounded by the Light.  I will have Integration back within 3 weeks and then Surrounded by the Light will go into second stage edits while Integration goes into third.  (expecting Integration back before the first half of May is over.  That means I could have Integration back from final edits about the time For the King and Elven Empire is released.  FTK&EE will be finished over the weekend, which means it could be available for pre-order by the end of next week by the earliest.

The cover for Tratchars will be put together in the first week of April, with the cover for Earwen’s Song coming together the first week of May, and the cover for Forbidden Contact being done at the beginning of June.  I still don’t have a name for Larien’s Story, but I do have for the Spokesman’s Story, and Lothrariel’s book. The Spokesman’s book will be called ‘To Catch an Ancient’ and Loth’s book will be ‘Kings of the Empire’.  Got to ask, if the covers are there, can the books be far behind?   I have to get busy and start working on them.   One will be a short, the other not.  Not sure about the size for Larien’s book yet.

Just told Thena to get her furry hide off the top shelf of the computer desk, yes, I am getting tired of things landing on me as I type, then again, on a more positive note, there isn’t anything up there for her to knock down anymore,  which means she will start on the desk itself yet.  Is the cleaning frenzy in that cat the female hormone?  got to wonder. Well, have to go, time to cut up the chicken to fry up, peel potatoes, and that type of thing.  Also, time to move things (that haven’t been knocked off the stand, so that the new TV can be set up… until next week, I need to go rescue things that haven’t gone bump yet.  Have a good one.  Gotta love kittens.
