First, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day. Today is going to be busy, first I have to finish packing Tathar’s kennel so it can go with #1 bro and his wife to pick up the twerp.  Yes, the time has come for him to follow Thena’s footsteps to my door.    Then I have to meet them on the highway with it and man is it cold outside.  Thena looks at us like she thinks we might have frozen a few gears to even think about leaving the heat register…   she might be right because it is -30C.  We definitely know winter is not over yet, but at least the highways are dry.  I hope it is the same in the mountains because they are headed are crossing the rock pile this trip. In a couple weeks we will be headed for transition time, which can be stormy and just plain yuk.

I have to change the brand of food Thena is eating, and she has almost finished what she has. Yes, our Thena should be black with a white stripe down her back with the way she smells… Oy.   I am surprised my blanket isn’t floating with her under it some days.  It definitely needs airing out, which it will get when the wind dies down.  The day before Tathar gets in I will do a complete cleaning of the room,  so they can destroy it together.  I am a thoughtful mama.  I even opened another package of sparkly pompoms for the kids to play with.

Should be interesting to see how they settle down, after the hissing fit is over. Thena has staked her territory out… me.  Not to forget mentioning under the cover,  on the pillow beside my head, on top the counter,  the butter dish (with contents),  and all 160 sparkling pompoms.  Something tells me they have a few issues that will need to be ironed out.  At the moment she has odds, because she is older and larger, but he is a growing boy.  LOL.

I have over 95% of Integration written,  and I may just be able to tie it down in a few more chapters, crossing fingers.  (Although I doubt it.)  There is something brewing, and unless I want it to run it straight into ‘Hunter’s Challenge’, it is going to go into overrun, again.  As I put on my FB page, I decided I would finish off this month by tying up book 2,  and writing the 1^st chapter on book 3.  Should be interesting.   When I have this finished and typed out I will do my main reworking before sending it off to Eniko.  (Giving fair warning for her to expect it by the end of the month.)

When March strikes, I will start on ‘Surrounded by the Light’,  yes, it is time to go back to the Elven lands.  I guess I should admit that I already have Chapter I written and ready to be typed out.  (Which I should do at the same time as ‘Hunter’s Challenge’ Chapter I.  I won’t be coming out of the Elven lands for a while after that because I am going to follow up ‘Surrounded by the Light’ with ‘Tratchars’ & ‘Eärwen’s Song’.  Eärwen and Eöl are screaming at me to get their book written.  I wouldn’t be too surprised to find that I have them done by June or July at the latest and will be ready to write the Spokesman’s book. Or Tathar’s book.   (No, haven’t named either, but they will be novellas,  one will be released for Christmas 2016)  There will be a Novella in the Tantalus Series about Karia’s grandparents written also.  Note to self: Stock up on pens.

Well I have gone on, expect pictures and announcement in the next blog because by then Tathar Silver Myst will have come home.  And won’t Thena’s blue eyes turn green.
