I am relearning what it is like to have young life in the house, and it isn’t pretty.  Wash a dish, take kitten off the counter, dry a dish, take kitten off the counter, open fridge, take what is needed out, take kitten out of fridge, close fridge while you hold her.  Go to the washroom, guard the opening of your clothing, and even them watch, or you could be trying to put on furry underwear.  Turn television on, go get kitten off the piano, sit down to watch commercial, get up, go get kitten off the tall china cabinet, go back to different commercial, go get kitten off the piano, return to different commercial.  Find out you missed the show you wanted to watch.  Oh well, was probably duller than taking kitten off the furniture anyway.  This, of course does not include the dozens (hundreds) of times she brings pompoms to you to toss and play with, she loves to play fetch.

Writing has become a bit of a challenge amongst all of this, and me with 5 novels in her head waiting to get out, Oy.   She wants to be held while I write, well, she is learning that Snoop had to settle for curling up on a blanket beside me.  (Of course you realize that only works for her when she is tired, and then she wants to be held.)  Granted, she is smaller and lighter than Snoop, who eventually got his way a good portion of the time anyway.  What am I going to do when the second one gets here?

Tath is going through final stages of preparation to be moved from the Cattery.  He has one lesson to go through, clearing throat as I say this, and then he needs to heal before brother and his wife pick him up.  Should be interesting, the cat care box has been packed at this end already.  Cat carrier, check.  Cat food, check.  Blanket to lay on, check.  Cover for cat carrier, in case it is windy outside, check.  Pompom, check.  Stuffy toy, check.  Should cover things, right?  They are going to have the litter pan and contents with them before I give them this box, so I am covered.

I have to get back to business and type out some more of the writing I have done on ‘Integration’  I have 4 chapters to type out, which could take me close to the 67,000 word count. (Or approximately 80% mark on the book.)  Morganna has ‘For the King and Elven Empire’, which she is doing edits on.  That will be back approximately at the end of the month, then it goes to Candy.  Sarah is finishing off the polishing of Marious’ Story, then that will be uploaded for changes to the available copy by Becca.  She will probably get King’s Champion done before the end of the month.  I will be happy to see the finishing touches done properly.

Today is Teresa’s sweet 16 Birthday party, which I had to miss because my van is in the shop being fixed.  Sigh.  I hope they have a blast either way.  The Elves are grumbling, they would have enjoyed playing pool.  (Just as well that they didn’t go though, they cheat). 

Well, I better get back to business here, I have a chapter to finish off and 4 to type out.  Hoping that by the end of the month I will have ‘Integration’ in Eniko’s hands for first edit and doing the finishing touches on ‘Surrounded by the Light’.  I can then go into the Elven lands for a few months, while I write ‘Tratchars’, etc.  You never know what is going to happen there.  Until next week, have a good one.
