Yes, you heard right, I am working on it… almost finished the main edit on ‘For the King and Elven Empire’,
it should be done today and in Eniko’s editing box.
That means I will be off to do other things, like the doilies I keep promising I will make for my sister, or washing up the crystal on the chandeliers in the living room.
(those need to be done too)
I just happen to hate washing up light fixtures, probably because I am no longer allowed up ladders… yes, clumsy here fell off a stepladder once and had issues with the Dr.
What? No one has ever had issues with a Dr?
Right.
Walking away with tongue stuck in the inside of her cheek.
Alright, so I shouldn’t have laughed at him,
but he looked so funny, wagging his finger at my nose when he was bent over like that.
No, I didn’t feel bad about doing it.
Well, Thanksgiving is over, and I hope everyone had a good time. Now the people who own stores can stop feeling guilty about playing ‘Jingle Bells’ and we can get sick of them enough to wish they had the song somewhere ..
. well, never mind.
Actually I love Christmas… the lights… the crisp feel to the air (that I wish would start on Dec. 23 and end on the 28th)
(Oh wait, those are the days little bro will be here to celebrate the season) .
.. no matter, he needs to know a bit of what we will be feeling for the next four months.
.. all right, all right… three months..
. picky, picky.
I used to love winter, when I was a child… then again I loved summer better, it was easier to run, you didn’t have to wear 30 layers of clothing, and you could get into more.
And people wonder where the Elven Children get it from…
I loved my childhood.
Depending when I finish with the tidbits I have left to clean, I could be writing next year’s Christmas release this year yet. I am calling it ‘Surrounded by the Light’ and it will probably be the last of the stories written about the young Elves.
(Sorry).
They are growing up, and they will be 14 in that Novella.
I have something different in mind for 2016.
First, however, I have to write ‘Integration’
(I only have around 10% of that one written,
and expect to have it finished over the winter).
Rumor has it that I am going to have someone coming to live here this winter too, a little Lilac Point Siamese kitten. Snoop would have hated it on sight.
He had this thing about kittens,
I still remember my sister in law and her daughter rescuing a few from off the road once…
they were on their way here when that happened… so they brought the tiny kitties with them.
Cute little rascals.
Snoop made his objections known in no uncertain terms… hissing, snarling, growling, the general whipping of his tail.
I was firmly delegated to the bad mama list because I touched one with the side of my little finger.
He wouldn’t let me touch him until bedtime.
My sister in law got cussed out by him royally.
Ah, the memories.
So, I will leave you off to make your snowmen now, while I finish the manuscript so Eniko can take over.
Until next week… have a good one.
YAY *rubbing hands* Looking forward to using my red pen 😀
I can’t wait to meet the little bundle of fur!
I have a few pictures, but he isn’t cooperating with her. 😀
You were his mama and he didn’t want to share his home or you. LOL. Lilac Point the kitten sounds very pretty. Pictures when you get her or him.You don’t use your red pen that much Eni. LOL You will just be happy to read it altogether. LOL Enjoyed the Blog. It sounds like whatever you write is still way ahead of your release schedule takes the pressure off.
Well, we will see how things go. Going into January with only Integration to write would be a bonus. I know 2016 will start off with Tratchars. Then in fall there will be Hunter’s Challenge. Not sure what will come in the summer of that year yet, but it is a whole year and half away. 😀 Things can change in that time.
