SOOOOO happy this week is coming to an end. First I started off taking Snoop to the Vet with what looked like a lump (no, I didn’t do it, not my fault). Turned out to be a sinus infection. Injections for the next 2 months, every two weeks. A few days later, and he isn’t improving. Back to the vet. Sick pussycat … sniff. X-rays, poke, poke, poke… hairball extraordinaire. Back home with pain killers and a pussycat, he doesn’t take well to this, is losing ground, back to the vet... It has moved, one more night and if it doesn’t pass, things are going to get messy. Why do things always have to be done the hard way? Yes, it got messy. Snoop still isn’t talking to me... I took him to the vet and he woofed his cookies.. we won’t talk about the rest... suffice it to say I left the room before they had two messes to clean up. I know, but my stomach can only take so much. Still feeling queasy. Now we are home, Snoop is giving me looks every time I pass him… you know the ones. I know he will forgive me when I take him for a nap, however, I have work to do first.

On the up side, I got the 5 chapters typed out and ‘For the King and Elven Empire’ now exceeds 60000 words. Integration only had the 1 chapter to add, and it is only baby sized yet, not quite 12000 words. I have also started ‘Surrounded by the Light’. I put the packages together that will need to be mailed out from the event, some have left, but the collector cards aren’t in yet so the rest are waiting. I know, it sounds horrible, but it is beyond my control. I am expecting them next week on the 13th, then I will mail off everything that isn’t a major book order, those are waiting for ‘First Contact’.

I should have the last edit of ‘First Contact’ back by the end of next week. It will take me a day to fix the errors. Then I will send the manuscript off to Becca for formatting, which may mean that I will have a page count the week after to pass on to Cora so the back cover can be made. When that comes back I will upload it onto the printer’s site and we will order in the proof pb copies. If it passes, then I will order in the last of the order. Hopefully it will be here a week after that and I can finish off the boxes waiting for them to be shipped. Crossing fingers.

Snoop will be sad to see the boxes leave my living room, he has been using them for scratching posts. Ah well, these thing too must come to an end.

Don’t forget Remembrance Day, Tuesday. We owe our brave ancestors much more than we can repay.
