Putting up the blog a little early this week. Yes, I am going to be swamped over the weekend.
Luthien’s Song releases on the second, which for some is on the first (my time)
I hope everyone enjoys,
and doesn’t go through too many kleenex boxes,
although I did by shares in the company in anticipation.
Eniko says there are still scenes in there that make her break out into tears.
Little bro is also going to be here for the weekend, or should we say a few hours this weekend, because by the time he drives from Kelowna he is going to be ready to crash.
Snoop will curl up with him to help keep him warm.
His son will show up, maybe after his father has a little rest.
We are having an event on Facebook to celebrate the release of the new book… all things considered I believe that I will be popping in and out like a yo-yo in a contest.
I also have other things going on… yes, I am a glutton for punishment… Torrent, move over.
On Monday I will have to get up at 4AM to take little bro to the airplane … not looking forward to that.
Oh yes, and last, but definitely not least, tonight (Friday) is Halloween.
Which means I will be the one at the door handing out goodies this year.
You know what that means? I will be freezing my assets off, not that I wouldn’t mind loosing some of the weight, but it doesn’t work that way.
Sigh. No fair.
To be on the up side of this, there will be the bonus scenes… fairies,
pixies, vampires,
zombies, bunnies,
tigers,and ghosts.
yes, they will all be there dressed up with their winter coats over their costumes because it is COLD. Mother Nature should consider the little ones a bit more, don’t you think?
A bit of warm weather so they can go get their sugar highs in comfort.
(No I am not giving out candy… the neighbors have all asked me to rethink that custom.)
I didn’t let the upcoming holiday trip me up this week. I wrote 5 chapters on FTK&EE as well as 1 on Integration.
Also thought up a name for book 3 of the Tantalus Series (Hunter’s Challenge), as well as book 4, Forbidden Contact.
I have a good part of ‘Surrounded by the Light’ firmly embedded in my mind… I hate to say that it will be the last Christmas release with the young Elves.
Going to work on something different for 2016, and I already know what it will be, just don’t have a name for it yet.
Snoop is on board for all the writing. By that I mean stretched out across my shoulders or curled up beside me.
He hasn’t been feeling well either lately.
Not sure what is going on there, beyond him beginning to feel his age.
Vet says he is healthy, yet to watch for problems because he is an old pussycat.
Nope, don’t know what to think, although she says he is unusually spoiled…
Can you imagine that?
I ordered more mugs, yes, I am in a minus position with them… sigh. I am waiting to be told the collector cards have been shipped.
And I have a cover to put over FTK&EE I hope everyone likes it,
I will put it up tomorrow.
Which reminds me, I have paperwork to do too.
I think I will take my new stuffed Snoopy,
the one that sings the monster mash song, and go to bed… no one wake me until the weekend is over.
4 AM on Monday? You are a saint! I will think of you while handing out the candy tonight…… high of 39 F here today, snow this am and 45 MPH winds all day and night!
Suppose to get snp=ow here this weekend too. Loved the blog. I will miss the Christmas books but I know they are getting older now. LO Love my kitty for me. The Tantalus series is really going to be good if you are planning that far ahead. LOL Loved the cup with FTK&TEE on it. Don’t envy you the4AM outing. Have fun with he TOT kids tonight. If not candy what are you giving?
I gave bags of chips, and had gummy bear backups… not many. We had 80 children. Didn’t expect so many. Almost ran out.
Wow, you had a busy Halloween. We only had our 2 great grandchildren this year. Guess who is going to have a lot of candy to eat! 😦 We have so many places for children to go here for Halloween and I’m glad for it in these times. I always buy candy just in case. You are going to have a nice event too. See you there. 🙂
I look forward to seeing you. I have been running in so many different directions I am afraid the paths will meet and I will crash into myself running down another track. In the meantime, life continues on.
Oh my. Sounds…as usual…soooo good! Can’t wait to read it. Thanks 🙂
Thanks Dawn. It was challenging to write.
I am enjoying learning of your books and look forward to reading them!
Hope you enjoy the trip, some we are going through one last time
I look forward to reading your books
Thank you Sheila
Busy time for you Mary. I don’t like giving away all that sugar to kids, we don’t have too many as we live at the edge of town. I’m awaiting the mugs and postcards. The party is going on as I write this. Such fun. Haven’t won anything yet, but it’s still young! lol I just enjoy the party, so thanks for have it.
I usually try to give something with little or no sugar, but then you run into the salt problem, there is so much salt in everything these days too. Good luck at the event
I cannot wait to read all of your books. I have a huge TBR list and it is gonna keep me company all through the winter
If you are going to be house bound, you might as well enjoy yourself… I have a huge TBR pile as well, don’t have the time to read as much as I used to.
We didn’t have any kids at my house for Halloween, but since I went with my nephews I didnt miss much. I cannot wait to read your books.
My niece went out with hers, then brought her here… love to see them all
