It is and has been a beautiful week, talking about weather here.
You can hear the geese flying from time to time, but you can tell they aren’t serious.
I doubt if many have even come in from up North yet.
I have taken to watching the weather forecast for next week, yes,
it is supposed to cool down somewhat, no, they don’t have a common idea of how much or when.
That can be annoying or hilarious, depending on how you look at it.
Each weather station seems to have a different idea of what is going to happen, which makes me think that one announcer has the right idea… “One minute, I will poke my head out of the window. Yes, it is raining, one minute while I get a towel.”
The grass is almost ready to harvest again… I mean cut again.
I don’t remember ever seeing it so green this late in the season.
Even the gardens have been coming off late.
I have 3 more tomatoes still on the vine.
I guess I should pick them tomorrow. Heavy harvesting there. LOL Not like the days when there would be 3 rows of boxes filled with tomatoes piled to my height waiting to be processed.
Little bro nicknamed me the refinery for a while.
Sigh, I really didn’t mind.
I have started to write, though I believe I mentioned that last week. I am hovering over the 45% mark on ‘For the King and Elven Empire’ now, and with luck I should be going over the 50% mark next week.
Notice how hard I am working on this, choke.
I have lots of time, so have been reading and just being lazy.
For a while I thought I only had 26 books to read that I plan on giving away, then I noticed the pile in the other room.
Yup, you guessed it… I should have known, then again, aren’t we all allowed to dream sometime?
Obviously not enough though.
Oh well, I have a case of books to ship off already anyway.
This upcoming week I expect to get the artwork for the collector cards I want to order, but I doubt if anyone is all that interested in those… ?
Then there is the artwork for the cover of ‘FTK&EE’ … and the bookmarkers I want printed.
That should keep a few people busy. I am going to have to post next year’s release list in GR soon too, haven’t made up all the synopsis’ for those yet.
Why do I suddenly feel tired?
Why is Snoop purring and leaving the room to go to mine?
Yup, he is sharpening his claws and yelling, he thinks it is bedtime again.
So what else is new Snoop. (That cat thinks it is bedtime all the time, I swear it)
I have never seen anyone else who needs a sleep to recover from his nap.
I thought he would want to go outside to catch some heat and sun this afternoon.
Nope.
It was very windy; he wasn’t going out of that door. He hates the feel of wind in his ears.
He wanted into the sun porch after that, so he could curl up in the window and catch the rays when they got to that side of the house.
Then he decided I should be in there too, so I could hold him while he caught them…
not happening cat.
Well, it is time to see if I can do some serious testing on this 7 yr. pen Eniko got me. So far it has written about 50000 words.
Still going strong. So, until next week, I am off to the races, and I will let you know how the pen is working out.
Unless Snoop beats me to the punch.
Glad to hear your weather is giving you a break. Raining here and should be for the next 5 days according to the forecasters. I think the kids are going to get wet down south. LOL Hugs to Mr Snoop understand needing more sleep don’t remember ever feling so tired all the time. I will cuddle with you Snoop. Enjoyed the blog.
Snoop looks interested, and like my visitors all say when they hold him, he has fur like the highest priced velvet. He would probably even purr for you, just don’t put him into a car or he will start to scream. Wow, has he got a set of lungs.
