Deep inside there is a voice that is yelling, but I don’t want to do everything on that list.
My brain says to my sore body, suck it up.
It is refinery time,
the point where the garden is saying catch,
you put me in, you have to deal with what you get.
Today is when the fresh veggie soup gets processed.
That means cut up carrots, potatoes, etc and make into finished product to freeze.
This is going to take all day.
Candy is coming to help, which means other things will get done as well.
I have more on that list, I am going to run out of containers to use for freezing things.
Not to mention freezer space.
I will make this work.
It has been a productive week. New fridge delivered and installed, check…
so I had a big clean up job from where the old fridge was that took ten or so minutes, had to be done.
Second and third stage of Luthien’s Song edits done… check.
A couple surprises done up… check.
(No, you are not going to hear about those, they are surprises for those who have ordered the paperback books).
First stage edit done on ‘First Contact’… check.
Sunporch cleaned… check.
(Value Village, brace yourself for delivery of overflow).
Today, as I said above, it is souping day and I can check that off at the end of the day.
Snoop is sitting by sending me kitty messages, ‘If you cuddle the kitty, he will purr…”
He is outside at the moment,
sunning himself on the porch,
looking across the street at the neighbor’s new dog,
something else to train.
Actually, he has been pretty good to their dog this year,
no antagonizing,
then again, the little yapper is small enough to get into the same spaces as he is,
a cat has to think of these things, even if his claws have been registered as a weapon of mass defense.
Nothing like going outside to chase off 2 dogs that have been mercilessly antagonized out of their mind when they have poor Snoop cornered under the ramp.
They are too big to get to him, and he is calmly sitting as he cleans his paws and waits for rescue from momma.
It is a day well used.
I am having a book sale, paperbacks. Only the following apply, Gabriel $7.00, Marious’ Story $7.00, or King’s Champion $7.00.
This does not include postage.
If anyone orders all 3… $15.00 for the 3.
I have very limited amounts. Gabriel (5), Marious’ Story (11), and King’s Champion (8), they are all signed. I am almost out of stock of everything else.
I am going to have to make this short, back is beginning to burn again and I still have a lot of veggies to process.
Wish me luck and I promise to make next week’s blog longer.
From the Snoop Cat and I, have a good one…
and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do.
LOL I can see Snoop doing exactly what you said and waiting for you to rescue him. How did you twist your back? Don’t push yourself today you could make it worse. Your veggie soup sounds delicious wish I had some. LOL
