The first words I heard when I returned was, “It takes us hours to get him back inside when we leave him outside,
followed by he screams, and screams, and screams.
He has also be getting a lot of cuddles.
I drove into the yard, pulled the fruit laden luggage out of the trunk and was met by a purring pussycat who had run to greet me from the trees.
Question… so the problem is WHAT????
I can’t see anything wrong here… cuddling loudly purring pussycat.
Granted, he wants me to go to bed and cuddle and is sitting on the bed loudly calling, but this is perfectly normal.
Right? Don’t all cats sit on their beds and scream for company?
Doesn’t mean it is happening,
hear that cat?
It was a quick flight to Kelowna, can’t complain there. And the first thing I did the day after was to go watch bro. #6 play baseball.
Yes, it was very warm (you learn very quickly, when you are baby sister, not to ever say you are hot, the teasing is just not worth the problem).
Boys.
Anyway, back to the game, we lost.
But they had fun.
I spent the first few nights at little bros.
A few more nights with older bro. and the last night at little bros.
The days were spent trotting around seeing things, I took a few pictures, which I posted on facebook, and read a total of 5+ books… I didn’t write a word but for some reason I feel like I need sleep.
Snoop agrees and he is ready to keep me company.
Right now I am getting ready to go grocery shopping. My sister in law was nice enough to get a few things for me, but my fridge is still empty.
I didn’t want to come back to a fridge full of mold. We will see when this happens, and how quickly I can get it done.
I am not a person who loves to shop so this should be interesting.
First I have to peel the pussycat off my shoulder.
PURR, PURR, PURR.
The flight back was interesting. It started off well.
We boarded quickly, took-off with a warning to expect turbulence as we got closer to Edmonton, couldn’t take pictures because who wants to see the top of clouds anyway, (looks too much like snow).
We began to change direction after a while, but didn’t think much of that because I usually don’t take that route so what would I know… right?
Were they really headed to a different city?
Sigh, yup.
This will be interesting. The captain comes on the speaker and says we will be landing in Calgary because Edmonton got hit by a huge storm that shut down the airport. Too dangerous to land.
Alright, but what about my connecting flight? We land, collect our luggage and spend the next hour and a half in a lineup waiting to find out what they are going to do with us… I lucked out.
I got a seat in a flight leaving Calgary for Winnipeg.
The guy who found it apologized before handing me the ticket because I had a seat in the front of the other plane and this one was at the back of the plane… I will take it.
Comment from him… “Sorry it is in the back.”
Comment from me. “I don’t care if they drop me off the tailfin with a parachute as we pass over my house.”
The guy grins and comments… “Brave girl, I will keep it in mind for next time.”
I got home an hour earlier than was expected, exhausted, but happy to be home.
Now to get Snoop to quick yelling at me.
Wow, has that cat got a set of lungs.
Poor Snoop I bet no on wet to bed with hi even if he did get cuddles. Mus have been a heck of a storm to close things down and the elves must have worked their Magic to get you home. LOL Glad your back.
Sorry or the typos meant went to bed and he not hi. I give up I will never type anything correctly. LOL
We know how you feel… lol. Been there, done that. I gather they lay down with him, but not the same thing
