I can just imagine everyone wondering what is going through this feeble mind this time. Well there is several things.
LOL… some sad,
some funny,
and some that you will no doubt roll your eyes at.
.. I did.
Some will make you chuckle.
Yes, it is that time of the week again. Saturday and time for the blog to be written with an update of what my week has been like.
I must admit I am glad it is coming to an end.
It started off good,
I finished ‘First Contact’ (granted I was 9000 words past where I thought I would end it, but I didn’t hear any complaints anywhere.)
I plan to do the rewrite/edit next week.
Yes, yes… I know I said I was going to go on a reading skag… but I can do that too.
Somewhere I have to get this new/old story out of my head too… hanging head in shame.
Yes I know… wasn’t going to go there, but I need sleep soooo bad… and these characters WON’T SHUT UP.
Plotting,
loving,
shedding the odd tear,
trying to make others as miserable as they are.
No, the duct tape didn’t help and after a case worth I am out.
Sigh.
The neighbor came across the street to see is Snoop was still alive. She hadn’t seen him walking up and down the properly line flicking his tail at her dog yet this year and missed him.
Cocky little pussycat,
pressing his luck and even had the temerity to stick his tongue out at the flea bitten canine.
I think the dog liked it too..
. oh, that’s right, that dog is gone and there is a replacement.
.. (he was only a loaner) .
.. well time to get with the program and tune the new one up.
Snoop is waiting at the door to go do just that.
He has this look on his face that can’t be misunderstood.
He is up to no good…. look out world, here he comes.
Snoop is going to miss Boots, the dog we puppysat this winter, she is in he happy meadowland,
chasing down bunnies,
boy did that dog like rabbits and boy did they keep her supplied.
(You heard about the rabbit breeding program I am sure, made just for that dog, I swear it)
I hope they get the message that she is no longer with us and tone it down or I will be into rabbits up to my wazoo.
Boot was turning 14 and had a good life, Snoop kept her in line and she made sure he didn’t stray.
She will be missed.
Planning on a week of relaxation but laced with something to make me feel like I am not wasting time, I have to keep those girls of mine hopping or they are not happy.
June will be building up month because July is when ‘My Darling, Janice’ is launched.
Will see what happens there.
By the end of the month I should have ‘King’s Daughter’ ready for formatting.
and ‘Luthien’s Song’ almost finished being processed.
‘Living in the Light’ is only a short one, that is almost considered fluff.
Not to worry girls, I will have ‘First Contact’ gone through before we reach that point.
We will also see what else I can get into.
Sigh.
Until next weekend, stay out of trouble (one of us has to),
and enjoy the summer heat.
(Don’t cut too much grass).
Snoop, lifting a paw of farewell from his reclined position in the sunbeam.
(Ya, you got to know that has to take effort.)
I do hope Boots gets to chase rabbit wherever she is. I do like to think the dogs have heaven too. I think it helps those of us who lost a pet. I did loose mine a year and a half ago and still miss his shaggy face.
Looking forward to more of what those pesty characters are plaguing you with. As I said, bad for you but good for your readers 😀
I remember when you lost your puppy, so sad. They come into our lives and become a part of us.
You will get a closer look at what I am about before almost anyone. What can I say.
So glad Snoop has a new dog to train. LOL Boots be saying hello to my beautiful friends that I have lost. I know you wat tpkeep te girls busy be please try to get at least Illusion and Air Bound read excellent books.
