Begin the celebration, it is a long weekend… give that two points.
Of course long weekends come with their quarks and pitfalls.
This one is especially busy, little bro is home and that always keeps a person hopping.
We or should I say, he, is doing yard cleaning.
I am supplying the food, yes, he will have help.
There is also the 50th anniversary of the school I graduated from going on…
I won’t be going to that, I have a cold and don’t want to spread it around,
not that I can’t be generous at times.
Beyond the revolving door syndrome that will be going on in the house I will be having company coming, not for long they they too count.
Add to the the possibility of getting my new kitchen sink installed, faucet and other goodies, well you see what I am facing.
Real down side to this is that the best friend I ever had and graduated with will be in town for the anniversary.
Then again we haven’t seen each other in like…. forever.
It is supposed to be a banner weekend, beautiful weather, sunshine, warm temperatures… what more could a girl want?
Yes, I know, sunny beaches… and all the rest that goes with it.
Our beaches no one would want to swim in yet, unless you are a polar bear.
Snoop has it planned out. He is going to spend the day slipping in and out with the traffic that will be heading in and out of the house.
Should I count how many times he gets carried back in,
or how many times he come running to the door to get back in because little bro told him “NOW CAT”?
Yes it can be like that when the two of them get together and he loves it..
. I swear the two of them do things to get on each others nerves. Little bro is slightly allergic and Snoopy (I swear) knows.
He sleeps on his bed starting about a week before he comes home, lies down on his coat the moment he takes it off, rubs himself all over his shoes and exchanges attitude.
If he manages to get under little bro’s skin, he purrs.
(2 points).
I am quickly approaching the 90% mark on ‘First Contact’ and there is still lots to write, though the ending is definitely in sight.
I wrote more on ‘For the King and Elven Empire’ as well this week and will be lucky to make my word count…
(Yes, it it true, this one will be a little longer… I am close to what should be the halfway mark and just getting started.)
I am not sure where that story will end, but you know the saying, the story isn’t over until it is told.
Well I have hundreds of things to organize and this was only one. In the upcoming days I will share more news, cover releases,
and hopefully the announcement that I have written up the ending on ‘First Contact’.
Snoop says he will help, but I told him he had to back off a little…
too many cooks spoil the broth…
not to mention he gets heavy when he lies across my chest after a while.
So until next weekend, enjoy the warmth, we deserve it after the winter we had.
Snoop and I will continue to work on our book and see what else we can get into.
I always look forward to your Saturday posts. You make my day !
Glad to hear it.

I always look forward to M. A. Abraham’s Saturday posts. This one is another one that made me chuckle. Love Snoop, the Siamese sidekick 😀
So sorry you have decided against going to your reunion. 50th is really special. Sounds like you will be getting a lot of things done that needed to be done. I agree Snoop probably does know exactly how he affects your bro. Can see him smirking. LOL Loved the blog as usual it brightened my day.
