Well it looks like Jack Frost is not ready to allow us much heat yet., so not happy about that.
We need some warmth to wake up the land (and get rid of this snow).
To be fair to Mother Nature, we have had some melting and they are saying the next two weeks will bring more.
Can’t wait. Sigh.
Just give us a couple/four months and we will be complaining about weather that reaches into the 40sC./100sF.
I know, there is no satisfying us, but there it is.
It has been a productive week. We formatted ‘My Darling, Janice’ (alright, I know, Becca did the formatting) but the important thing is that it is done.
How we need to finish off the cover and order the physical proof.
I am looking forward to seeing this one in print.
Cora did such a great job on the cover and my editing team worked so hard on it.
I don’t know how many times we went through this before we were satisfied.
Hope people like it. I know, I know… someone is going to tell me not to say that because it is great, but I still say everyone has an opinion and it isn’t always the one you think it will be.
So, we will wait and see what the outcome is.
I am expecting to see the cover for ‘Luthien’s Song’ this week. Excited about that one, people are really looking forward to that book even more than ‘King’s Daughter’ which precedes it.
Becca will be doing the cover for that one and for ‘Living in the Light’, which will be this year’s Christmas release.
They are all in the editor’s hands and going through first edit after rewrite.
Should be interesting to see what comes out of that, so far it hasn’t been bad.
I got eleven chapters back with minimal changes to be made.
Snoop is getting impatient for the weather to change, so I am not alone in this obsession for spring. He sits by the front door and screams to be allowed outdoors and if you open the door he backs away…. NO, NO, NO.
He is a cat who loves his creature comforts,
and is about to loose one for a few hours…
that feather blanket and my pillow are about to go outside for airing out…
(they smell like cat). Well, on that note it is time for me to toddle off.
I have a chapter to write,
a couple curling matches to watch
(our team is winning), and a pussycat to hold.
(We won’t talk about the house to clean…lol. )
Until next week, enjoy the springlike weather and think warm,
furry,
purring thoughts. (From the Snoop cat).
Loved it as usual. The kitty coming out of the rose is so cute. Give our kitty extra loves from me. Doesn’t sound like you are reading. Is it April already? LOL
He is getting lots. 😀
