They say the weather on Mars is better than it is here, I can almost believe it.   Makes a person want to put their name into that lottery to immigrate… lol.   No not happening here.  Snoop is too old to make that trip and by the time it actually happens I will be right in there with him.  (Besides, there are no Elves on Mars, I think.)  Now there is a thought. (No, not going there.)

I was doing well this week, then got my hands on a package of lettuce mix that was tainted.   From what I understand there was a whole batch of them that the stores were selling.   Short end of the story is that I won’t do anything like that any time soon.    Was sick for the last 3 days with food poisoning.   So not good.    Snoop was a lot of help,  he laid in bed with me purring, putting his paw on my cheek from time to time and offering kitty kisses.   Now he can’t seem to understand why I have to get out of bed.

We are having a Face Book event for the launch of ‘Return of the Legend’, yes, I know it is available on Amazon already with the release date still 3 days away, but Becca had to put it up early as she is busy this weekend.  No matter.  Next week is going to be a busy one.  I have launched back into writing on ‘Luthien’s Song’ again since recovering, well almost recovering, and have a chapter written.  That should almost place me at the 50% point and it is getting lighter.   That is one emotional roller coaster, people will hate me for this.   Anyway, I am off subject… lol.  Monday and Tuesday is the launch event on FB.  I take #3 bro and his wife to the airport to go see #6 & 7 bro in Kelowna on Tuesday morning.   Then I will be puppy sitting until they come back.  Yes, Snoop is excited about that. LOL.  Wednesday Barb will have her review up on ‘The Reading Cafe’ …. always interesting, and they ahve a surprise giveaway that goes with it and their anniversary month.  Some lucky person will like what is being offered I am sure, but I am not telling what it is… nope.

Last month we had record sales of the books, and for that I am humbled and grateful.  Snoop says that if anyone is looking for a soft, cuddly kitty to curl up with while they read for a few hours he could be more than happy to keep you company and purr in your ear while you pet him.   Oh yes, and read.
