Just as the yearly celebration comes to an end, the Talisman issues an order to all the Kings of the Elven Empire. They are to gather in the city of Torendal and present themselves to the Great Guardian for the next task.

A barely recovered Eden and Gabriel travel to the side of the Talisman to receive the Kings, Eden being the voice for the massive tree. The Kings are curious about their quest. What does the Great Guardian want from them that it will take every King in the Empire to accomplish? How will they get there when those at the far side of the Empire are in disarray? No one knows the answer, not even Eden, for the Talisman will speak to no one about its demands.
